Font Notes:
Described in Fowler (1874): the holy water stoup remains in the north porch. Sutton (1898) writes: "The holy water stoup should be noticed, as, instead of being simply a basin in an arched recess, as is frequently the case, it is more like a miniature font. The octagonal basin, though in part broken, rests on a semi-detached octagonal shaft with a plain base." [cf. Index entry for Grimoldby No. 1 for the base of the original font also in this church]
