The baptismal font is listed and illustrated in Mackeprang (1941) among the "Sønderjyske rankefonte" grouping, a round basin decorated with a large vine, and a head at each corner of the square base. The font is listed in Danmarks kirker [https://nmdanmarkskirkerprod.blob.core.windows.net/files/Sjyll_2484-2513.pdf] [accessed 16 August 2025]; it points out that there are further motifs on the base partly hidden on the flooring: a lion, a kind of quadruped, ditto and vine: "Døbefont, romansk, af granit, af ranketype (jfr. Svenstrup p. 2554), ca. 75 cm i tvm. Kvadratisk fod med primitive hjørnehoveder og på siderne (halvt skjult i gulvet) en løve, en slags firfodsdyr, dito og ranke. Nordvestligt i korets vestfag (Mackeprang: Døbefonte p. 334 f.). Glat dåbsfad købt 1691, eftersom der tilforn intet var udi dåben16, 42 cm i tvm. Som dåbskande tjener den tid ligere alterkande af københavnsk porcelæn, sort, med guldkors, nævnt i inventariet 186033 (som vinkande). * Tinkrus med låg, 19,5 × 13,5 cm, tidligere dåbskande. På låget graveret: »Denne Kande skænket til Kirken af Anna N. With." The entry for this church in the Danish Wikipedia [https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notmark_Kirke] [accessed 16 August 2025] makes reference to Mackeprang [cf. supra] and describes the font as being contemporary with, or older than the church itself, decorated with vines on the basin and heads on the base: "Døbefonten, der er samtidig med eller ældre end kirken er en romansk granitfont som har ranker på kummen og hjørnehoveder på den firkantede fod. Fonten er registreret i Mackeprang – Nord og Sønderjylland – Sønderjyske rankefonte – Den sydlige gruppe". The font consists of a roughly-hemispheric basin raised on a short rounded pedestal and a lower base formed by a thick round moulding and four corner heads; the sides of the basin are decorated with stylised vegetation; two mouldings, one at either rim. The sides of the font appear painted. The font is illustrated in a digital photograph taken 21 October 2006 by Hideko Bondesen posted in Wikimedia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Nordenskirker_Notmark30.jpg] [accessed 16 August 2025]. A partial view of the font in its context is shown in a digital photograph taken 15 August 2021 by Kliojünger in Wikimedia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Notmark_Kirke_altar.jpg] [accessed 16 August 2025].
