The artifact found in this location, a lower corner piece showing potent Latin crosses on both sides may be all that is left of an old baptismal font from the early-Christian church known to have existed here since Paul's time [ref. in Col 4:16], and "the last of the seven churches addressed in the book of Revelation (1:11; 3:14-22), as reported in Herner.
