Bond (1985 1908: ill on p. 120) illustrates what appears as a composite holy-water stoup, probably made up of three unrelated pieces of carved stone: a bucket-shaped basin, a narrow rectangular stem with carvings on the sides, and another rectangular stone, also with carvings. There is no comment or explanation in Bond regarding this object, since all his comments are about the main font [cf. Index entry for Avington No. 1]. The CRSBI does not mention it in the church contents. On-site notes: our own visit to this church did not notice this object.
