The Ecclesiastical and Architectural Topography of England: Oxfordshire (1850) notes: "The font is plain round, tub-shaped, probably N[orman]". The plain basin is roughly cylindrical, with slightly tapering sides; squat circular lower base. Wooden cover with graded upper part and knob finial, probably 19th century.
