The baptismal font now located in the apse of the Romanesque church at Einigen may be a re-tooled version of the older font; the basin ia octagonal at the uppr rim and sides, then hemispherical, raised on a plain cylindrical stem and quadrangular lower base with chamfered angles [though our only source [Suisse romane (1958: pl. [285]) is not clear, the font appears to have head or such mitifs still on the re-tooled (?) basin side] -- [to be rechecked and completed]
