Noted and illustrated in the RCAHMW (Pembroke, 1925): "The font is probably of the Norman period. It has been re-dressed.*—Visited, 4th June , 1915." [NB: the footnote to this entry reads: "A Ms. presentment of the year 1684 sets forth that 'ye font wants a cover, a carpet for the Communion Table, a pew for ye minister to read in, and a pulpit cloth and cushion for the pulpit, a Communion cup and flagon, a hearse cloth, a box to keep alms are all wanting, except one large Welsh Bible, and one Welsh Book of Common Prayer.'" Described in Lloyd, etc. (2001): "Small medieval font, retooled, square with chamfered base and two arch-headed sunk pannels each side."
