An entry in the Flintshire Churches Survey of the CPAT mentions a visit by Glynne [sir Stephen Richard Glynne] in the mid-19th century in which a baptismal font with an octagonal bowl was reported. The 1995 CPAT report mentions a baptismal font in the south aisle, west end, but it is not clear whether or not this is the same font seen by Glynne in the mid-19th century or a later one added when the new church was built in 1875 [source CPAT web site at www/cpat.demon.co.uk/projects/longer/churches/flint/16387.htm]
