Font Notes:
There are three entries for Yatton [Keynell] [variant spellings] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/ST8676/yatton-keynell/] [accessed 26 August 2018], neither of which mentions a church there; one of the entries shows it was held in 1086 by "Judicael (the priest)" and may therefore have had a church in it. The baptismal font at Yatton Keynell St. Margaret's appears too sharp for the 15th century, but may have been re-tooled in the 19th century. The octagonal basin has vertical sides decorated with large blind quatrefoil windows, and a graded chamfered underbowl; it is raised on a plain octagonal pedestal base with an octagonal-to-square lower base.
