Noted in the RCAHMW (Pembroke, 1925): "The font is of the usual cushion type ; its bowl measures outside 24 inches by 20 inches, inside 18 inches by 16 inches; parts of an iron hinge and staple remain. It stands on a circular shaft, 56 inches in circumference, and has a square base, the full height being 32 inches.—Visited, 27th July, 1920." Described in Lloyd, etc. (2001): "Font. C13, square scalloped bowl on a round shaft". The font, which is illustrated in www.genealogy.com, consists of three blocks: the square basin as described in Lloyd, a short cylindrical stem and a tallish square lower base; the wooden font cover is flat and appears modern [NB: the font is now located in an awkward spot, practically against an auxiliary altar, obviously not the proper place for the baptismal font]. Noted in Thurlby (2006) in a long "List of scalloped table-top fonts in Pembrokeshire".
