Noted and illustrated in De Bruyn (1869-1870). A baptismal font or holy-water stoup now located at the west end of the nave, centre aisle; the object, which appears monolithic and made of a dark limestone probably of the region, octagonal throughout; the basin has four human heads at 90-degree angles; the pedestal stem has two prominent sets of graded mouldings on it, the spaces in between carved with a shallow pattern of tracery; the lower base is octagonal-to-square, with graded spurs at the four corners. This vessel probably functions as a stoup, but it is described in several local sources as 'fonts baptismaux'. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original mid-11th century church here]. [cf. Index entry for Celles-les-Dinant No. 2 for the later font of this church, located beneath the tower].
