The web site of this parish [http://notredamedefleurance-catho32.cef.fr/Fleurance.html] mentions a stone baptismal font in this church; the font carries the date of the first Protestant exaction carried out in this church in the 16th century: "vesena plebs hereticorum me dextruxit et ecclesia auxitana reparavit MCLXIIII" [sic] [NB: it is not clear whether or not this inscription is on the font itself, nor whether the error in the Roman numeral dating is in the transcription or in the original] [cf. Index entry for Fleurance No. 2 for a holy-water stoup of the same period reported by Enlart -- see also entries for Lamothe-Endo for a font and stoup in the nearby église St-André].
