Listed in Lloyd et al. (2001: 160) as the base of an old font [probably 14th century] now kept in the vestry. This source describes the font in use as an "1844 copy of the old Norman square scalloped bowl, which has fooled many a visitor" [NB: font not listed in this Index on account of its late date -- cf. entry for Carew No. 2 for a medieval stoup in this church]
