Baptismal font probably from the 15th or 16th century in the Gothic style. It consists of a roughly cylindrical basin with quasi-vertical sides and a hemispherical underbowl, all of it decorated with a pattern of diagonal ribbing; a rope moulding marks the underbowl-base joint; the stem of the base appears octagonal (?) and is decorated with the same pattern as the basin, as well as with two horizontal mouldings; the lower base appears to have been partly buried in the new stone flooring. There is some damage to the sides of the basin: a large crack and what may be a plugged hole on one side. The wooden cover may be 18th-19th century: it is round, slightly curved, and has a smaller radiated circle raised slightly off centre, so as to allow the hinges to open next to it. [We are grateful to Javier Torrens, of Pamplona, Spain, for the photographs of this font]
