The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sankt-Nikolai-Kirche_(Luckau)] [accessed 11 August 2025] mentions a baptismal font made of wood by Abraham Jäger and painted by Christoph Dietrich; dated 1671. The roughly hemispherical basin has six panels painted on its sides by Christoph Krause; there is a running inscription painted below the upper rim and further inscriptions below the painted panels. Illustrated in Wikimedia by a digital photograph taken in May 2008 by Andreas Praefcke [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Luckau_Nikolaikirche_Taufbecken.jpg] [accessed 11 August 2025]; the caption reads: "Taufe von Abraham Jäger (Tischlerei) und Christoph Dietrich (Malerei), 1671".
