In his 1862 visit to this church Glynne (1877) reported a new font in this church. Noted in Newman (1980): "Font. Norman. Square bowl, much polished up, on modern shafts." Listed in Stocker (1997) as a "deep burial" instance in his listing of "font bowls reportedly discovered under church floors and set beneath successors."
