Baptismal font consisting of a square basin with slightly tapering sides and rounded lower corners, raised on a squat tapering circular stem and a larger quadrangular lower base. Wooden font cover with a square base and low pyramidal elevation. The font is located near the south-western entrance, at the foot of the stairs leading to the gallery. A recent photograph of this font can be seen at www.stteilosbishopston.co.uk/guidedtour/m_ChurchFont.jpg [accessed 14 December 2006], with the following caption: "The font is late Norman, carved out of a single square block of limestone, standing on a circular stem; the oak cover is modern and was presented to the church in 1925 by Helen Morgan."
