Bucket-shape basin now [2004] serving as fountain in the centre of the cloister garden of the Benedictine abbey at Lavaudieu. This object may have been originally a baptismal font, although the inner well is rather shallow and has been perforated around the sides for use as a fountain; the centre drain (?) is large now. [We are grateful to Juan Antonio Olañeta, of www.claustro.com, for his photographs of this object]
