Allen (1839?) notes: "The font is a large and handsone polygonal basin of veined marble sustained on a circular pedestal of grained marble; the canopy of oak, with gilt enrichments, has an inscription recording that it was the gift of the parish in 1670." Blatch (1995) notes the presence in this church of a font recovered from another London Church [cf. Index entry for London No. 78, Christ Churt, Newgate], and adds: "St Sepulchre's own font, at the West end of the south aisle, is an attractive marble furnishing with baluster stem and fluted bowl adorned with cherubs' heads which was given by a parishoner in 1670. The cover is octagonal."
