Cox (1912) notes a pedestal font which, like the pulpit and some chairs, had been "painted a light drab relieved with black". Not mentioned in Pevsner & Williamson (1979). Described in the parish web site: “medieval font to the left of the west door. It was thrown out in the 1812 restoration and used as a trough for the parish pump. It was not returned to the church until 1918.” [source: http://www.tollerton.org/stpeters/index.shtml]
