Described in the inventory of Herefordshire (1931-1934, vol. III: 116) as one of two fonts located at the time in the gardens at Grange House, the former Market Hall, and were originally from the church. This one is described as "tapering cylindrical bowl of a 12th-century font". [NB: the other font is reported at a later date back in the church [cf. Index entry for Leominster No. 2]
