No entry for Llangarron found in the Domesday survey. A font here is described and illustrated in Herefordshire (1931-1934, vol. I: 168 and pl. 39): "Font [...] octagonal bowl , each face with quatrefoil in circle enclosing rosette, panelled and splayed underside with quatrefoils and rosettes, stem with trefoiled ogee heads alternating with rosettes, 14th-century." The font appears raised on a modern plinth, and covered with a flat wooden lid decorated with metal reinforcements, probably modern as well. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SO5303321171] notes: "Parish church. C14. West tower, nave and chancel, C15 south porch, north aisle dated 1841 [...] C14 octagonal font with quatrefoil in roundel enclosing rosette to each facet, alternating rosette and quatrefoil to lower facets."
