Pevsner & Cherry (1975) note: "Font. Circular, C13, undecorated, but moulded shaft, and spurs at the foot." Baptismal font of the 13th century [source: the 'Recent grants' report of the Grants Committee meetings of 9 March 2004 and 22 June 2004 of the Historic Churches Preservation Trust, www.historicchurches.org.uk]. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: ST8313980189] notes: "Anglican Parish Church, C15 central tower, nave and chancel 1856 [...] Two fragments of carved C9 cross-shaft built into north porch [...] C13 circular font on moulded shaft with spurs at foot."
