Baptismal font of limestone consisting of a plain square basin with a round inner well, raised on a plain square pedestal base. Although some local sources have dated this stone font to the 12th century, as was its original listing, the Palissy 2003 entry [ref.: IM10002720] notes that the tool used to carve the stone was a 'boucharde' or 'Stockhammer', aka 'Spitzhammer', which would date the font much later than originally assessed ["Cette oeuvre a été classée comme étant du 12e siècle mais l'outil utilisé pour tailler la pierre, une boucharde, ferait remonter sa création à une date bien plus récente. Repéré par Mgr Marsat"] [NB: it is possible that the old font was re-tooled at a later date?]
