Described in Drake (2002: 66-67) as a Romanesque baptismal font consisting of "two pieces, both octagonal, though not of matching stones [Drake's footnote here indicates that the original base may be missing, the current one being a replacement]. The bowl is absolutely plain except for a moulding around the bottom of each vertical face, below which it slopes steeply with a slight curvature to meet the top of the support which is moulded at the top in two steps to match the bottom of the bowl." Drake (ibid.) points out the similarity of this font with the one at Précy-Notre-Dame, in the Aube département [cf. corresponding Index entry]
