Mentioned in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) in a cross-reference from the font at Cereceda. The font, cognate of many found in the region, consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated a roll moulding at the upper rim, and a pattern of broad ribs on the sides and underbowl; raised on a plain round and squat base; the upper surface of the basin has the stubs of the metal staples of the old cover, and the usual groove all around.[NB: this church is said to be of the early-13th century, and the font is of the type common in the period [NB: could it be the former font of the Iglesia de Santa María de la Peña, also in Brihuega?]
