Illustrated in the web site of the Catholic Diocese of Chalons-en-Champagne [http://catholique-chalons-en-champagne.cef.fr]: baptismal font consisting of a roughly octagonal basin, the sides of which have bulges at the bottom of each panel, as if they were very broad ribs, giving the underbowl a rounded shape; the bottom of the underbowl has a roll moulding; the basin rests on a plain round stem and an octagonal lower base, both of which might be modern replacements, recarved or retooled. The font is covered with a tall metal dome, also octagonal, with an orb-and-cross finial. A digital image of the font and cover taken July 2021 by G.Garitan may be seen in the Wikipedia entry for this church [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Baptistère_08726_Dormans.jpg] [accessed 8 August 2025]
