Illustrated in the web site of the Catholic Diocese of Chalons-en-Champagne [http://catholique-chalons-en-champagne.cef.fr]: baptismal font consisting of a roughly octagonal basin, the sides of which have bulges at the bottom of each panel, as if they were very broad ribs, giving the underbowl a rounded shape; the bottom of the underbowl has a roll moulding; the basin rests on a plain round pedestal. The font is covered with a tall metal dome, also octagonal, with an orb-and-cross finial.
