Described in the Communauté des Communes du Monflanquinois as a baptismal font made of sandstone consisting of a round basin mounted on a square base. Although the date of the font is not given in this source, it informs that the episcopal visitation of 1601 reported the font uncovered, a contravention of the general directive to keep the fonts covered; in 1648 a closer-to-home order was issued by "Mgr. Delbène, Evêque d'Agen [to whose diocese Savignac belonged] , 'demande qu'il soit installé des fonts baptismaux fermant à clef'"; according to this same source the basin is now covered with a zinc lid [source: www.cc-monflanquinois.fr/savignac_patrimoine.htm]
