Described in the web page for Le Pays d'Ath [www.ath.be] as being a baptismal font dated in part to 1597. Information supplied 6 September 2021 by Pol Herman notes it is a composite font: - BALaT dates it 1491 - 1550. - The crude octagonal font is later, but not visually datable. - The base is late-Renaissance (triangular diamond-shaped ornaments, but multiple and at different heights). - Le Patrimoine Monumental de la Belgique notes: "Fonts baptismaux gothiques, fin XVs.-déb. XVIs., à cuve remaniée"
