Font Notes:
Described in the web page for Le Pays d'Ath [www.ath.be] as being a baptismal font dated in part to 1597. Information supplied 6 September 2021 by Pol Herman notes it is a composite font:
- BALaT dates it 1491 - 1550.
- The crude octagonal font is later, but not visually datable.
- The base is late-Renaissance (triangular diamond-shaped ornaments, but multiple and at different heights).
- Le Patrimoine Monumental de la Belgique notes: "Fonts baptismaux gothiques, fin XVs.-déb. XVIs., à cuve remaniée"
