A plate in the same source illustrates a number of them, including that of Les Ayvelles among them . Baptismal font of 12th century [source: Diocèse de Reims-Ardennes: http://catholique-reims.cef.fr] A sketch of unknown source appears in www.chooz.com/memoire/patrimoine/fonds_bap.htm [accessed 27 December 2013] showing a typical Mosan basin with heads at 90-degree angles, with a blind arcade in between; the sides appear decorated with some foliage pattern not clearly discernible in the source; the basin is raised on a single broad shaft with splaying lower base. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM08000041]: " fonts baptismaux [...] grès [...] 12e siècle". Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: AP08W01018].
