Font Notes:
The baptismal font here consists of a square basin with tapering sides decorated with columns that have defined capitals but no arches, a rather odd example; one of the sides of the upper area is badly damaged, a fairly large piece broken off; the damage is on the side opposite the corner now bearing a large metal staple of the old cover, which presumable indicates there was a second metal anchor on that side, now broken off; the inner well is round; raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal and a splaying round-to-square lower base decorated with columns or piping. The font appears crudely made and not well kept.
