Baptismal font of the 16th century. A digital photograph of this font and cover taken 2 mai 2025 by Renhour48 may de seen in the French Wikipedia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Saint-Amand-les-Eaux_-_Eglise_Saint-Martin_-_cuve_baptismale.jpg?uselang=fr] [accessed 4 August 2025]; the roughly-hemispherical basin has a pattern of concave ribbing all around and an emblem of coat of arms on the front; it is raised on a baluster-type pedestal base. Font cover of brass with several moulded levels and knob finial. Also in this church, and illustrated with a digital photograph by the same author [cf. supra] is an odd-looking holy-water stoup [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Saint-Amand-les-Eaux_-_Eglise_Saint-Martin_-_bénitier.jpg?uselang=fr] [accessed 4 August 2025]: it consists of an octagonal basin of stone decorated with several human heads, raised on a wooden base also octagonal in shape, and a lower base of stone ocatgonal-to-square in shape. It is obviously a composite object [NB: could the stone parts of the stoup be remains of an earlier font here?]
