The present font is illustrated in a digital photograph taken 18 December 2021 by ChBougui that may be seen in Wikipedia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Fonts_baptismaux_de_l'église_Notre-Dame_de_la_Nativité_de_Sully.jpg] [accessed 3 August 2025]; it consists of a square basin with decorated sides; the upper section of the base, is a separate block from both the basin and the stem; raised on a round pedestal stem and a moulded round-to-square lower base; on a square plinth. The basin and the upper section of the base are modern but the stem and lower base appear to be much older. The wooden cover is of a square low-dome shape, with a Latin-cross finial.
