In Newman & Pevsner (1972): "Font. Octagonal, Perp[endicular], with quatrefoils against the bowl." Described and illustrated in The Dorset Historic Churches Trust: baptismal font of the 15th century and cover from the 18th century, both originally from the earlier church [the present church was built in 1861-1862 ny T.H.Wyatt. The font consists of an octagonal basin with vertical sides decorated with large inscribed quatrefoil windows, a pedestal base with arcaded (?) sides and a slightly wider lower base, both octagonal.
