The Glencairn Museum facilitated the following description to BSI for their item with inventory no. 09.SP.249: "Sculpture, limestone. French. Capital with faces at corners, hollowed out. XIIth century first half [...]. Provenance: [unknown]. Description: "small capital unadorned except for narrow, foliate band around lower edge, acanthus motif. Fourt corners articulated with human faces. Hollowed out in center, perhaps for use of holy water. Condition: good; some pitting and minor surface abrasions."
