Long (1923) writes: "the font is dated 1620, and is a tolerable imitation of Perpendicular work of the 15th century." In Newman & Pevsner (1972): "Font. The usual Perp[endicular] type, octagonal with quatrefoils, yet dated on the rim 1620."
