Alexander of the interior of the East Stower church, with a mention of the baptismal font: "The font, which is circular, stands at the west end of the nave." [source: http://books.google.com] [accessed 26 September 2007]. Noted in Newman & Pevsner (1972): "Font. Of the Purbeck table-type, with shallowly sunk round-headed arcading, three arches to the side. C12."
