Described in E.F. Hewson's report to the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland (1893, vol. 23: 207-208): "The base of the font, about 30 inches in diameter, lies in the graveyard, about 5 yards south of the middle of the south wall of the church. A section of the shaft, about 16 inches in diameter, lies 6 or 7 yards south-west of the south-west angle of the church. Both are of unusual pattern." This same source reports "a bullaun, which was removed from the church" [not listed in this Index]
