Described and illustrated in Duverger (2003: 131, 150, 151, 154): baptismal font of the 16th century made of stone; it consists of three parts: a roughly hemispherical basin profusely ornamented, a short cylindrical stem totally plain and a round lower base splaying out towards the bottom. The decoration on the basin is in very deep-relief, especially the outer thick foliage motifs that open up in parts showing an inner level of ornamentation of plain disks which Duverger relates to the jade disks so popular in pre-Columbian art in Mexico; the upper basin side has an inscription running between two thin mouldings; below this, a ribbed pattern that is visible only where the thick foliage does not totally cover it.
