Described in Castillo López (1987 c1972: 103) as an interesting -oval- baptismal font probably of the early 14th century. The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/a_coruna_Carelle.pdf] [accessed 28 July 2025] illustrates a holy-water stoup in this church without mention of a font: "Pila de agua bendita", of a round irregular shape with protrusions that mat be sketchy figures at the rim [are the two objects one and the same?]
