Described and illustrated in Tynell (1913-1921: 78 and pl. XXXVI: 4) as a medieval baptismal font of the Genarp group 'Genarpsgruppen': the roughly cylindrical basin has a band of palmette motif around its middle but the upper basin side has a blind arcade of round arches near the upper rim; the lower rim of the basin side has a thin roll moulding that separates it from the underbowl; the latter is decorated with a ribbed pattern in the same style as that of the Källs-Nobbelöv [cf. Index entry] font; the base has a cylindrical upper stem with a centre ring and roll moulding at the top, splaying out into a thicker roll moulding with four corner balls and a square lower volume. Drake (2002: 149, 184 and pl. 326) describes it as a variant of the Bosarp-Dagstorp groups of goblet-shaped fonts decorated with a frieze of palmette motif.
