Described in Berggren (2002: 171 fn38) as a baptismal font of the Paradise type (group 7 or "lily-tree" fonts), one of three -with the fonts at Roholte and Stralsund [cf. corresponding Index entries]- "made with the same template" of ornamental "trees and heraldic lions". Baptismal font listed and illustrated in Danmarks Kirker [https://nmdanmarkskirkerprod.blob.core.windows.net/files/Praestoe_0294-0317.pdf] [accessed 28 July 2025] as a large basin made of Gotland limestone ca. 1300-1350 decorated with a group of a Tree of life, a pair of lions and a star in a circle, repeated four times around; no drain; on a conical base; the font stood until 1860 by the south wall of the chancel ["Font af Kalksten,gullandsk Arbejde fra o. 1300—50 (Fig. 10). Paa den store Kumme (Tvm. 112 cm) er i Toplans-relief hugget en fire Gange gentaget Gruppe, et ornamentalt Livstræ med Liljeblomster flankeret af et Par fantastiske, løvelignende Dyr, samt een indcirklet Karvesnit-Stjerne. Figur bunden er ruhugget, medens Relief-figurer og Flader iøvrigt er svagt lodret riflede. Øverst paa den kegle-stubformede Fod løber en overpudset Rundstav. Intet fløb. Indtil 1860 stod Fonten ved Korets Sydvæg". A baptismal dish made in souther Germany ca. 1600 is also noted in the DK entry (ibid.)
