The entry for this church in Danmarks Kirker [https://nmdanmarkskirkerprod.blob.core.windows.net/files/Praestoe_0549-0558.pdf] [accessed 28 July 2025] describes the font as having d fifteen-sided basin decorated with two kneeling angels holding a haloed Christ's head, a six-point star in a circle, Mark's lion holding a scroll, Luke's ox, a stylied tree, a haloed daint's head, john's eagle, a tree, Matthew's angel, another tree; it does not have a drain hole; low base os a special stone ["Font af gullandsk Kalk sten, gotisk, fra o. 1450 (Fig. 8). Den femtenkantede, meget store Kumme, 109 cm i Tvm., har paa Siderne Relieffer i ganske lavt Arbejde: To knælende Engle, som holder et Kristushoved med Korsglorie; Cirkel med seksoddet Karvesnitstjerne; Marcus’ Løve med tomt Skriftbaand; stiliseret Træ; Lucas’ Okse Karvesnitstjerne; stiliseret Træ; elgenindehoved med Glorie; otteoddet Karvesnitstjerne; Johannes’ Ørn; Træ; Matthæus’ Engel; Karvesnitstjerne. Intet Afløb. Lav Fod af en særlig Sten." The DK entry (ibid.) mantions a baptismal dish made of brass ca. 1550, a German work: "Daabsfad (Fig. 7) o. 1550, af sydtysk Arbejde, 50,5 cm i Tvm.; i Bunden en liggende Hjort over et Skriftbaand med stærkt udslidte Minuskler og derudenom Bladværk og Smaavaser, hver med tre Lilier. Den smalle Rand er 1897 blevet øget med en drevet Messingkant." Font described in Berggren (2002: 171 fn38) as a baptismal font of the Paradise type (group 7 or "lily-tree" fonts), one of three -with the fonts at Valløby and Stralsund [cf. corresponding Index entries]- "made with the same template" of ornamental "trees and heraldic lions". The baptismal bowl [i.e., baptismal dish], dated to around 1550, is from the south of Germany. It is decorated with a deer surrounded by lilies."
