Font Notes:
Noted in Mehnert (1934) as a 'Rambin' type, after the font in the place of the name in Rügen. Catalogued and illustrated in Krasnodębska (2022) as one of the medieval fonts of around the 13th century imported from Gotland, with reference to Mehnert [cf. supra] and to Bronisch and Ohle (1939) for the dating: "Gotland workshop, ca. 1270. Gotland limestone, iron [ring]. Dimensions: H 106,5 cm, ø 87 cm (ø 89 cm - ring). Weight: ca. 840 kg. Inv. No.: MNS/Szt/136. From the church in Wrzosowo (near Kamień Pomorski). The font is a typical example of the Gotland Paradise font group ["paradisenfunten"]. No cover present.
