The bronze baptismal font here consists of a bucket-shaped basin bearing two rows of scenes separated by a band with a Latin inscription that includes the date 1335; both rows have a stylised arcade of crocketed triangular arch-heads resting on columns in the shape of thin pinnacled buttresses; the upper row contains scenes from the Infancy and Public Life of Christ cycles (Nativity, Flight to Egypt, Baptism of Christ, etc.), while the lower row contains scenes related to the Passion and Resurrection cycles [NB: the iconographic programme appears to move Right-to-Left here]; the basin rests on four (?) couchant lions, and the whole is raised on a wooden quatrefoil plinth. There is no font cover present but the upper rim sides have anchoring spots for a former cover.
