Baptismal font of the "Paradise" font ["Paradisfunt"] type. Illustrated in Berggren (2002: 158 pl. 12): hemispherical basin decorated with a scotia at the upper basin side, and a blind arcade of pointed arches all around the sides and underbowl. The base consists of an upper cylindrical portion with a ring moulding at the top, raised on a round splaying out lower volume, both plain. [NB: the upper volume of the base shows a repaired diagonal crack right through it]. A digital photograph of this font by Hideko Bondesen may be seen in Wikipedia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Asnaes(47)Døbefont.JPG] [accessed 28 July 2025]; its caption reads: "Unggotiske døbefont af kalksten fra Gotland fra begyndelsen af 1200-tallet med spidsbuede bægerblade på kummen. Dåbsfadet er skænket af Dragsholm slot i 1643. Asnæs Kirke i Odsherred Kommune."
