Catalogued and illustrated in La chiesa di Jesi (2000: 289-290) as item 359: stone baptismal font of the 16th century consisting of a shallow round basin raised on a slender bulbous stem and a quadrangular multi-part base. The narrow side of the basin is framed between two thin flat mouldings and has a running inscription ["una scritta probabilment col nome del donatore"], while the underbowl has ribbed pattern all around. The stem of the base is in the shape of a thin bulb and is raised on a square lower base that has the Camaldolense Order coat of arms on the front. A lower volume, also quadrangular, has what appears to be foliage motif at the corners. [cf. Index entry for Poggio Cupro No. 2 for a holy-water stoup of similar design in this church].
