Described and illustrated in Tynell (1913-1921: [77] and pl. XXXVI: 1): baptismal font of a composite nature; the sandstone medieval basin is roughly hemispherical, plain but for a rope motif around the upper basin side and a ring moulding at the bottom of the underbowl; the base, of square pyramidal shape, is obviously a later addition. Tynell (ibid.) informs that the basin was restored and renovated in the 1870s.
