Described and illustrated in Tynell (1913-1921: 72 and pl. XXXIV: 3): medieval baptismal font of the Falsterbro goup made of limestone, its basin similar to that of the font at Ravlunda [Tynell has "Raflunda"]. The basin is roughly hemispherical with a roll moulding at the upper rim, and the shape is almost round, with twelve sides barely noticeable, each side housing two tall trefoil arches; the base has a round centre ring under which the shape is square with a trapezoidal upper volume; the next volume down is square with a torus atop; the lower base is identical but wider. Tynell's image shows that the basin has been provided with an iron ring to reinforce the upper side; the latter shows at least one part of the upper rim cut, probably to accommodate the cover hardware. Drake (2002: 183) has it as a round-bowl font of the Strängnäs a-type. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920824F1] as a 'musselcuppstyp, modifierad' baptismal font made of limestone in the 14th century, the basin with twelve sides, two trefoiled arches per side. No font cover present. The brass baptismal dish in 17th-century.
