Described and illustrated in Tynell (1913-1921: 55 and pl. XXI: 2): medieval baptismal font of the Falsterbo goup consisting of an octagonal basin or general hemispherical shape mounted on a base often found on the fonts of the Paradise type: round pedestal splaying out slightly towards the bottom. The sides of the octagonal basin are decorated with a row of circle motifs at the upper register while an arcade of round arches decorated with dotted motif houses a series of fantastic animals and figures: lion, birds, a standing human, a rooster, etc. The spandrels of the arcade are decorated with palmette-like foliage motifs. Listed and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900806F4] [https://medeltidbild.historiska.se/medeltidbild/visa/foremal.asp?objektid=900806F4] [accessed 25 August 2024] as a baptismal font of the Fröjelgruppen made of limestone in the 14th century.
